The Scholastic Assessment Test, previously known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test. The SAT exam was developed to assess the applicants verbal, mathematics & written skills. Applicants who wish to pursue undergraduate courses, especially in Canada & US are obliged to take the SAT exam. This test has been designed and developed to test mathematical, writing and reading skills of aspirants and their potential to match the academic requirements of assessing universities. SAT is conducted by the College Board and is used by over 4000 educations institutions primarily in the USA and some other leading destinations. Many Indian students find the test difficult due to unfamiliar question patterns, distinct rules, language hurdles, and other factors. However, with sufficient preparation and exam knowledge, you can easily ace the test. SAT is considered easier than JEE mains in terms of syllabus, stress level, acceptance rate, number of candidates giving the exam. However, since SAT is for admission to undergraduate programs candidates are advised to appear for their SAT while in standard 11th or 12th. This way they would be eligible to send their SAT scores to the universities abroad where they wish to seek admission.

What is the SAT exam syllabus?

The SAT Syllabus primarily covers subjects that students have studied in school. SAT preparation becomes more manageable if you’ve excelled in these subjects during your academic years. Starting in 2024, the SAT exam has transitioned to an online and digital format, setting it apart from the previous version. The new Digital SAT offers an additional 43% time allocation for each question compared to the old SAT, granting test-takers more time to respond. Additionally, the exam’s duration is shorter, and the SAT format has undergone modifications.
