This Scholarships provide the recipients with the following benefits:
A monthly Stipend of EUR 750 in a Bachelors.
A monthly Stipend of EUR 850 for a Master’s course.
Costs for health insurance are funded and scholars with a child receive a family allowance of EUR 276.
The scholarship does not have to be repaid.
In order to apply for a scholarship, it is essential that you live in Germany and study at a German university with German proficiency. Applications have to be submitted in German even though your course is English taught.

Masters: April 30, 2025, for summer semester / October 31, 2025, for winter semester

It is not possible to apply for a scholarship for the following training courses and projects outside of an existing FES scholarship :
- Further training as a psychological psychotherapist
- short-term stays abroad
- project plans
- Short-term studies (less than three semesters, e.g. two-semester master's programs)
- research stays
- trainee programs
- preparatory college
- Medical degree programs before passing the Physikum
- Promotion, further education and training in the field of medicine (specialist training)
- pure study or doctoral completion phases
- postdoc projects
- pure study programs outside the EU
- part-time or extra-occupational study (dual study programs are eligible for funding if full-time study is proven)
- second degree programs
- language courses
- internships and summer schools
